Concerns For Missing Man

Police are concerned for the welfare of a man who has been missing since yesterday.

David Hodgkinson, who is 47, failed to return to his home in Houghton On The Hill, after leaving work in East Langton at around 1pm.

Officers say his car, a grey Citroen DS3, travelled along the A6 towards Oadby, close to the Glen Gorse Gold Club, about 20 minutes later, although there has been no sign of him or the vehicle since.

They are appealing for sightings of David or his car, with has the registration number FG64 AOW,

David is described as white, around 5ft 9ins tall, with brown eyes and short hair.

He also has distinctive tattoos on both arms – pictures of these have been released to help identify him.

When David was last seen he was wearing a t-shirt and jeans.

PC Emma McMahon, from Leicestershire Police’s missing person team, said: “David has never been missing before and his family and police are concerned for his welfare.

“If anyone has seen David or knows where he is, please make contact. Similarly we are really keen to hear from anyone who has seen David’s car sinche he left work yesterday afternoon.”
