‘Community Use’ for Derelict Garage Site?

Harborough’s MP is asking residents around the town’s southern estate what they’d like to see happen with an area of derelict land in their neighbourhood.
The neglected Market Harborough site contains disused garages which have become overgrown and vandalised – and is currently a magnet for fly-tippers.
As we reported last week, Neil O’Brien called for a meeting with the site’s owners, Platform Housing Association, after being dismayed by its sorry state.
The MP says he’s now reassured the area will finally be receiving some much needed attention…
He adds that Platform is also looking at potentially installing gates at the two entrances which will stop future fly-tipping.
