Christmas Fayre Makes Final Of ‘Best Day Out’ Contest

The Market Harborough Christmas Fayre is in with a chance of being named Best Day Out in Leicestershire.

It is one of 24 places and events to make the final of the new category in the county’s Tourism and Hospitality Awards, following public nominations.

The Christmas Fayre, which will return for a tenth time on December 1st this year, attracts thousands of people and is one of the most popular events in the town’s calendar.

Windmill Farm Park in Kibworth has also been named a finalist in the contest, the results of which will be announced at a ceremony at Athena in Leicester on November 30th.
