Charity Launches Snowdrop Appeal

A Market Harborough-based charity has launched a Snowdrop Appeal in a bid to raise £1,000.

Home-Start South Leicestershire, which supports vulnerable and disadvantaged families, wants you to share photographs of snowdrops and make a donation at the same time.

The appeal uses the snowdrop image to represent challenges faced by families during the long winter months and says the strength and resilience shown by the flower leads to growth and positive change, under the most adverse of conditions.

Home-Start wants you to photograph snowdrops whilst out and about during February and send images to naomi@home-startsouthleics.org.uk or via www.facebook/homestartsl to display on the charity’s social media channels.
