Car Abandoned After Getting Stuck In Ford

A car has been abandoned in water at a beauty spot near Marston Trussell.

It is thought the BMW got stuck in the ford on Scoborough Road, which runs between the A4304 and the village, on Sunday night.

Emergency services were not called, so it’s presumed the driver was able to get out of the vehicle that is submerged up to its wheel arches.

Police attended the scene yesterday afternoon after being alerted by a walker.
