Water leak on Scotland Road
The burst pipe is on the section of road near the Launde Park junction, with water gushing out of the road and a large area underwater when HFM went to the scene.
Scotland Road has been closed to traffic between the Rectory Lane and Bellfields Lane junctions and Severn Trent Water is warning supplies maybe interrupted and customers may experience reduced water pressure and discoloured water, while repairs take place.
A spokesperson said: “We would like to apologise to customers in Little Bowden who may be experiencing lower than normal water pressure.
“This is due to a burst main on Scotland Road, which our teams are on site and working hard to repair.
“We’re working hard to get everything back to normal as quickly as possible, however due to the location of the burst we have had to put a road closure in place.
“We know that roadworks can be frustrating and we would like to thank everyone for their patience while we make this repair.”
