Burglar Warning In Desborough

Police are urging people in Desborough to ensure doors and windows are closed locked at night and when they’re not at home.

It’s after several reports over the past few days of would-be burglars trying door handles in different parts of the town late at night or during the early hours to see if doors were unlocked.

On one occasion – just after 11pm -a man entered a house where the door was unlocked, before running away when met by the home-owner.
