Police have unveiled new roadside testing kits which they say will help them catch more drivers who are under the influence of cannabis or cocaine.
It comes as the Leicestershire force launches its annual summer drink and drug drive clampdown.
The kits quickly tell if someone has one of the illegal drugs in their system, by analysing a small saliva sample.
Officers say they are more accurate and speedy than previous equipment.
During last June’s campaign 60 drivers were arrested – with was up on the previous year.
