Bumper Turnout At ‘Operation Market Harborough’

There was a bumper turnout at ‘Operation Market Harborough’ over the weekend.
The two-day WW2 and post-war living history event was held at the Showground, with around 5,000 people attending.
The Ukulele group perform.

The event included military vehicle displays, re-enactments, 1940s-themed live music and vintage stalls.
It also supported charities and community groups, with over £1,000 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Organiser Mick Crook has thanked all who supported and took part in the event and described it as ‘a big success’.
