Kibworth Cricket Club To Host Top County Game

A bumper crowd is expected tomorrow when Kibworth Cricket Club hosts the professional game for a second year.

Leicestershire will take-on Surrey at the Fleckney Road ground in the one-day Metro Bank Cup, a competition the county side won in 2023.

Over 1,000 spectators attended last year’s county game including many youngers and the club is hoping for a similar turn-out, with the match beginning at 11am.

Kibworth chairman Geoffrey Page-Morris told HFM it will be big day for club and preparations are well underway:
