Bin Charges To Be Considered

Plans to charge people moving into new houses across Harborough for wheelie bins are set to be considered again.
The move was put on hold last year following concerns, including bins becoming a target for thieves.
When the plan was announced, a delivery fee of around £45 per bin was proposed, with the charge also to apply to existing residents who needed replacement bins.
A number of options will now be presented to the Harborough Council’s Cabinet in October.
