‘Eye-Sore’ Signs Must Be Removed

Large signs promoting a new homes development in Great Bowden will have to be taken down after being deemed an eye-sore.

The signs at the side of Leicester Lane
Harborough Council planners say the nine, two-metre high advertisements, in fields at the side of Leicester Lane, directing people to a Mulberry Homes development, adversely affect the visual amenity of the rural location.
A retrospective planning application has been refused.
