Arrest Warrant Issued Over Market Harborough Shop Burglaries

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man accused of breaking into three shops in Market Harborough town centre after he failed to appear in court.
Damion Maloney, 47, was charged with three counts of burglary after cash and other items were stolen from Windowsill Houseplants on Roman Way, Lilybelle Beauty and Nails on St Mary’s Road, and women’s clothing store Bebooted on Church Square in May and June.

Police say the break-ins involved glass doors being smashed to gain entry, with cash taken from some of the premises.
Maloney, of no fixed abode, was due to appear before magistrates in Leicester yesterday but failed to attend.
A warrant has now been issued for his arrest.
