Appeal After Vandals Damage Materials For Sports Pitch Repairs
Written by HFM News on 23rd August 2021
Vandals have ruined materials due to be used to resurface the 3G sports pitch at Desborough Leisure Centre.
The work is needed because the pitch has been out of use after it was vandalised, with glass embedded in it from people smashing bottles.
Bags of the sand-like substance, that had been left in the car park, were opened and the contents left strewn across the floor, between 4.15pm on Saturday and 7.45pm yesterday morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses or information about who was responsible – Call Northants Police on 101, quoting Crime Reference Number 21000472367 if you can help.
