Appeal After Thieves Raid Lorry Trailer

Thieves have stolen a substantial amount of goods from a lorry parked up overnight beside the A4304.

They cut open the side of the curtain-sided vehicle in a layby near Walcote, between 8pm on Wednesday and 6am on Thursday morning.

Parts for Tesla cookers were among the items taken.

Harborough Police are appealing for information.

Detective Constable Nick Cox said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has dash cam footage from the area on the night of the incident.

“Or anyone who may have driven along Lutterworth Road that night and might have seen anything suspicious.”
