Appeal After Suspected Stolen Jewellery Found

Police have released pictures of suspected stolen jewellery in the hope it can returned to its rightful owners.

The six distinctive pieces were found in a car linked to burglaries in Welford and Kettering, after the driver crashed in Lutterworth following a police pursuit last month.

Three men aged 40, 31 and 18, from Market Harborough were arrested on suspicion of burglary and released on bail as enquiries continue.

The items recovered by police

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: “On March 26, break-ins occurred at properties in Brambleside, Kettering, and in West End, Welford.

“A vehicle linked to the burglaries was later located in Lutterworth, with several pieces of jewellery found inside which had not come from either of the addresses.

“Officers have now released images of six distinctive pieces from the recovered items and are appealing for anyone who recognises them to get in touch.”
