Appeal After Arsonists Target Car

A fire that destroyed a car on the driveway a house in Sutton Bassett was started deliberately.

Police say two people set the Land Rover Discovery alight and it’s believed they drove off in a white or silver Ford Transit Van.
The blaze would have spread to the house on Main Street, but for the quick actions of firefighters.

The arson happened between 10.45pm and 11.15pm on Monday February 18th – officers are keen to speak to anyone in that area of the village who has CCTV that may have footage of the vehicle as it arrived or left the scene.
