A5199 Crash Leaves Two People Injured

Two people were taken to hospital after a two car crash on the A5199 near Husbands Bosworth yesterday morning.
Emergency services were called to Welford Road just before 10.50am.
An air ambulance crew attended the scene
Firefighters freed one person who was trapped in one of the vehicles and an air ambulance also attended the scene.
Leicestershire Police say the injuries sustained in the incident are not believed to be life-threatening, and no-one was arrested.
The road was closed in both directions following the collision.
