Arrests After Alleged Hammer Attack

Police investigating an alleged hammer attack on a hunt saboteur’s car have arrested two men.

The duo, aged 24 and 26, are being questioned on suspicion of criminal damage and public order offences following the reported incident on a country lane near Theddingworth on November 24th.

The North Cambridgeshire Hunt Saboteurs released pictures of the alleged confrontation, which they say resulted in a side window being smashed and took place while it was monitoring the Fernie Hunt.

A spokesman for the Fernie Hunt says they were unaware of any incidents taking place on the day, but will assist Police are part of the investigation.
