‘Persistent’ Shoplifter Jailed For Seven Months

Written by on 18th October 2018

A shoplifter who persistently targeted supermarkets in Market Harborough has been jailed for 30 weeks.

Lesley Fuggle stole alcohol from Waitrose on Springfield Street three days running earlier this month, meat from the Co-Op in the Commons Car Park, and alcohol from Sainsbury’s.

She has admitted the thefts at Leicester Magistrates Court, which heard the 38-year-old continued to steal, despite being handed a suspended sentence earlier this year for other theft offences.

Fuggle, of Petworth Drive, Little Bowden, was arrested by Police in Market Harborough last week, after she was found hiding under a bed.
