Safe Pathways Finally Set For St Luke’s Hospital

A dedicated pathway for pedestrians from the road to the entrance of the St Luke’s Treatment Centre in Market Harborough is finally set to be put in place.

NHS bosses promised last year one would be put in place, after safety concerns were expressed when the hospital building opened, with people on foot have to walk along the entrance road.

They now say work on the dedicated footway is set to start sometime this autumn.

Lines were painted marking a pedestrian area at the side of the entrance road as a temporary measure, although it was branded dangerous by walkers.
