Calls To Expand Harborough’s CCTV Network To Help Tackle Crime

Calls will be made later for Harborough Council to expand its CCTV network.

A motion will be considered at tonight’s Full Council meeting for a full review into the current surveillance system, and how it can be expanded to cover other areas in Market Harborough, like Welland Park and the Symington’s Rec, plus other parts of the district.

Leader of the Liberal Democrat group, Cllr Phil Knowles, has put it forward, following last month’s spate of burglaries at business premises.
