Harborough’s Charity Bake-Off Is Returning!
Written by HFM News on 17th September 2018
Harborough businesses are being urged to sign up to take part in this year’s Bake-Off.
The fundraising event takes place on September 28th in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
As well as having the chance to be crowned the town’s best business baker, staff are being urged to sell their cakes to boost the fund, with a giant sale set-up at the Angel Hotel.
To get involved, businesses need to bake a cake/s and have a representative/s of the business present throughout to sell the cakes. Harborough residents and passers-by are invited to enjoy a selection of cakes, tea and coffee on a pay-as-you-feel basis.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support and organisers are hoping to exceed the £414.44
raised last year. The Angel Hotel is hosting the event free of charge and will be providing tea and coffee alongside the cakes.
Residents are able to attend Market Harborough’s cake competition at any time between 11am and 1pm on Friday 28th September.
Businesses interested in registering a place at the High Street bake off can get in touch with rdalby@braybray.co.uk for more details.
