Ambulance Station Close To Being Sold For Over £1m

Market Harborough’s Ambulance Station is close to being sold to a property developer for over £1m.

The Leicester Road base has been on the market for the last five months and is now under offer.

East Midlands Ambulance Service is selling the building, together with the 1.3 acres of land outside, as crews will move down the road to share space at the Police Station later this year.

No details have been revealed as what is planned for the site, although agents say it is suitable for housing, a care home or roadside retail facility.
