Driver Injured After Crash At Billesdon Crossroads

A driver’s been taken to hospital with suspected spinal injuries after a crash at the Billesdon crossroads.
Emergency services were called to the A47/B6047 junction just after 7am, to deal with the collision, involving two cars.
Firefighters cut the roof off a Renault Clio to release the woman.
The driver of the other car – a Ford Focus – wasn’t injured.
The roads were shut for a time.
Leicestershire Police say the woman’s injuries aren’t thought to be serious.
