Over 100 Cattle Destroyed At Harborough Farm

Over 100 cattle at a Market Harborough farm have been put down by government vets after their owner was banned from keeping farm animals for life.
They have been destroyed at Peter Thomas’s farm off Northampton Road.
He was found guilty last week of 14 animal welfare offences relating another of his farms at Glen Parva near Leicester.
Government agency Defra won’t release any more details on why the animals were put down.
