Kibworth Could Get CCTV Cameras

CCTV could be installed in part of Kibworth in a bid to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour.

Kibworth Beauchamp Parish Council is considering installing cameras in the High Street area, which would be linked to the monitoring centre in Market Harborough.

It would cost around £25,000, with the Council seeking money from developers for the move, if it went ahead, through the Section 106 scheme, used to improve community facilities.

Villagers’ views are being sought before a decision is taken.
