Man Arrested After Car Rolls Onto Its Side in Desborough Crash

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a car rolled onto its side following a collision with parked vehicles in Desborough.

Emergency services were called to Buckwell Close, off the High Street, at around 10.20pm on Sunday.

Northamptonshire Police said the driver of a Mercedes collided with a parked Vauxhall Corsa, causing the car to roll onto its side before striking a parked BMW 3 Series.

No-one was seriously injured.

A 51-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink-driving and has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service was also called to the incident.

A spokesperson said no-one was trapped in the car, but crews made the vehicle safe before leaving the scene at around 11.30pm.
