Families Invited To Market Harborough Fire Station Open Day

Market Harborough Fire Station is inviting families to its open day this Saturday, promising a fun-filled day of activities while raising money for charity.

The event at the Fiarfield Road base takes place from 10am until 3pm, and gives visitors the chance to meet firefighters, explore the station and learn more about the work of the emergency services.

There will be live demonstrations, including a road traffic collision rescue display, as well as the opportunity to meet Molly the Search and Rescue Dog.

Families can also enjoy face painting, food and refreshments, while children are encouraged to bring along a teddy bear for a special superhero zip line adventure.

Cash donations on the day will go to The Fire Fighters Charity, while visitors can also support the Jubilee Food Bank by bringing food donations for a collection point at the station.
