Emergency Response After Multi-Vehicle Crash on A6

Three people were treated by ambulance crews after a multi-vehicle collision on the A6 between Market Harborough and Kibworth.
Emergency services were called to the crash at around 4.40pm on Saturday, between the turn for Foxton and the West Langton Road junction.
Fire crews from Market Harborough and Central Fire Station attended after reports that people were trapped inside vehicles.

However, on arrival firefighters confirmed that nobody was trapped in any of the four vehicles involved.
Three casualties were treated at the scene by East Midlands Ambulance Service crews.
Firefighters made the vehicles safe, with the road closed while the incident was dealt with.
The collision was one of two incidents affecting roads in the area over the weekend.
A crash also happened on the A4304 Lutterworth Road in North Kilworth yesterday morning, with the road closed for a short time while emergency services dealt with the incident.
