Harborough Hornets organise 12-hour fundraiser for Prostate Cancer UK

A 12-hour walking football fundraiser will take place in Market Harborough later this month to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.
The event is being organised by Harborough Hornets, Harborough Town FC’s walking football team, which also hopes the day will encourage more people to take up the sport.
The fundraiser will be held at Harborough Town FC on Sunday, July 26, with walking football matches taking place throughout the day.

One of the highlights will see a celebrity side, managed by former Leicester City captain Matt Elliott, take on a team made up of cancer survivors.
There will also be plenty happening away from the pitch, including a tombola, face painting, a bouncy castle, food and refreshments for all the family.

HFM will be at the event too, with three local bands and singers performing between 11am and 3pm.

Money raised will go to Prostate Cancer UK to support research, awareness and treatment for the disease.
