Water supply problems return during hot weather

Water supply problems have been reported in parts of the HFM region as temperatures continue to rise.

Anglian Water has apologised to customers in Clipston and surrounding areas, with some reporting no water or low pressure.

The company said a pump failure, combined with increased demand during the hot weather, has put pressure on supplies.

Teams are working to restore normal service and keep taps running.

There have been several similar problems in the same area during period of hot weather this year.
