Fleckney Teenager Dies After Leicester Crash

A teenage boy from Fleckney has died after a crash in Leicester.

16-year-old Tyler Barrett suffered serious injuries after being involved in a collision with two vans at the junction of Welford Road and Baldwin Road just after 3pm last Tuesday.

He sadly died in hospital on Thursday.

Leicestershire Police say Tyler was a strong believer in organ donation, and his family have honoured his wishes for his organs to be used to save the lives of others.

No arrests have been made and an investigation into the incident is continuing.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, or motorists with dashcam footage, to come forward.
