Speeding drivers will be caught!
That’s the warning from Leicestershire Police after speed checks on the A6 between Kibworth and Great Glen – where the limit is seventy miles per hour – recorded some motorists doing more than a ton!
Officers from Market Harborough monitored speeds between half past eight and half past eleven on Sunday morning – resulting in eleven motorists being issued tickets for doing between 84 and 114 miles per hour.
Police say they’ll be carrying out further speed checks on this stretch of the A6 in the near future – to try to curb this dangerous driving.
