Use of Plastics

The leader of Harborough District Council has been speaking about his commitment to working with others to help reduce the world’s dependence on single-use plastics.
Cllr Neil Bannister was among the panel members answering questions at a recent event organised by Churches Together in Market Harborough – which called for people to join forces to stop our “earth and oceans filling up with plastic.”
He’s pledged HDC will cut out single use plastics and also run an awareness campaign on recycling for residents.
