Specially commissioned flag

A specially-commissioned flag is now flying above The Symington Building in Market Harborough – to mark Armed Forces Day.
Harborough District Council hoisted the flag this morning in the presence of a number of dignitaries during a ceremony in Church Square.
The annual event’s an opportunity for the nation to show its support for service men and women – whether veteran or still serving.
It celebrates the work the armed forces do in support of our country – and raises awareness of their past and continuing contributions.
