Amber Snow Warning For HFM Region

An upgraded weather warning for snow has been issued for the HFM region as Storm Goretti approaches.
The amber alert covers Leicestershire and north Northamptonshire from 8pm tomorrow until 9am on Friday and follows a previous yellow warning.
Forecasters say up to 15cm of snow is possible, with up to 30cm on higher ground, although Alex Burkill from the Met Office says the position remains fluid:
