Shop Rebrand Moves Closer

A rebrand of Market Harborough’s WH Smith store has moved closer after plans were submitted to change signs on the front of the shop.

The long-standing name will disappear as the stationery retailer becomes ‘TG Jones’ after Hobbycraft owner Modella Capital agreed to take over the chain’s high street shops in March.

The plans submitted to Harborough District Council show the new signage will feature white lettering on a blue background – very similar to what is already on view.

The shop continues to trade as normal during the transition to the new name.
