Revved Up For Harborough’s Classic Car Show

One of Market Harborough’s most popular free events is taking place tomorrow.
The Classic Car Show is taking place in the town centre, where over 400 cars, motorbikes and other vehicles will be on display.

Food and drink stalls will compliment the event, organised by Harborough Live Events, with support from Harborough District Council and businesses.
There will also be the chance to have a ride in some special cars for a donation to charity, thanks to the Sporting Bears Motor Club.
The show will run from 10am until 3.30pm, with roads in the town centre closed for the duration of it.
Around 20,000 people have attended previous shows and Steve Crook from organisers, Harborough Live Events told HFM it’s an event for the whole family:

Road closures will be in force from 6.30am until 5pm and affect the following roads:
- St Mary’s Road at the junction with Mill Hill Road
- Northampton Road at the bridge
- Coventry Road at the entrance to the Commons car park
- Abbey Street at the junction with Fairfield Road
- High Street at the junction with Bowden Lane
- Roman Way at the junction with King’s Head Road
- King’s Road
