Man Appears In Court After ‘Crime Spree’

A man accused of being involved in what Police described as a ‘crime spree’ in Great Glen has been remanded in custody.

Clint Caines is charged with conspiracy to steal from a motor vehicle on June 3rd.

The 40-year-old of Welford Road, Leicester, is also accused of breaching a civil injunction and appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court.

He will next appear at the city’s crown court next month.

Two other people arrested in connection with the investigation remain on police bail, pending further enquiries.

He applied to join the team and after jumping through many hoops and proving his worth to the station he was offered a regular 10-12PM radio show.
