One person was cut free from the wreckage of a car after a crash on the A14 near Rothwell earlier today.
Emergency services were called to the eastbound carriageway between junctions 4 and 5 at 11.20am, after two cars were involved in the collision.
Police say one person suffered ‘minor injuries’ in the incident.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews arrived at a collision between two cars, with one person trapped in one of the vehicles.
“Crews used hydraulic cutting gear to free the person from the vehicle and left them in the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service.
“Crews then made the vehicles safe and left the scene in the hands of the police before returning to their stations shortly before 1pm.”
The carriageway was closed for over two hours while emergency services worked at the scene and the cars were recovered.
The incident led to lengthy tailbacks.
