Post Box Topper Theft Leaves Villagers Upset

Villagers have been left angry and upset after a postbox topper was stolen in Kibworth Beauchamp.

The knitted creation vanished within two days of being placed on top of the box outside the Post Office for Easter.

The Easter topper was stolen from the top of the post box in Kibworth Beauchamp

Sharon Caple from Fleckney spent a whole weekend crocheting the topper that featured a bunny, chicken and eggs after starting to make them last year, to the joy of residents.

This was the 12th topper she had placed on top of the postbox after starting making them last year.

Villagers have taken to social media to denounce the theft and Sharon is urging whoever stole it to put it back:
