Nationwide Extends Opening Hours

Nationwide is extending the opening hours of its bank in Market Harborough.
It’s in response to the recent closure of Lloyds bank in the town centre and ahead of Santander shutting its doors.
The branch on the High Street will be open on Wednesdays from this week, meaning it will be available to customers five days a week, Tuesday to Saturday.

In a leaflet given to customers, Nationwide said: “We have reviewed the demand for branch services in your community and have decided to open this branch an extra day a week.
“It’s now open five says a week to enable more of our customers to do their banking when it suits them.”
When Santander closes its branch in July, only Nationwide and Market Harborough Building Society will remain in the town centre following a number of bank closures since 2023, although a Banking Hub is now available at the Symington Building.
