Flood Support Fund Opens For Applications

People whose homes were flooded across Harborough earlier this year can now apply for financial support.
Harborough District Council has launched a support scheme worth nearly £40,000 to assist residents with on-going clean-up costs.
The authority agreed to step-in to offer one-off grants to eligible residents whose homes suffered internal flooding, after the government confirmed it would not providing financial support to those affected.

Over 70 properties were flooded in the district on January 6th – the majority in Great Glen and Broughton Astley.
