Lidl has announced plans to open a new store in a Harborough village.
The discount supermarket chain wants to build it off Uppingham Road in Bushby, creating 40 jobs.

The 2,185 square-metre store is earmarked for land at the junction of Zouche Way and would include a 120-space car park.
Andrew Hodgkinson, Regional Head of Property at Lidl GB, said: “We’ve seen demand for our products continue to grow in the region, so we’re pleased to announce plans for a store in Bushby.
“We’re grateful for all the support so far and look forward to keeping the community updated on the store’s planning journey.”
A planning application has been submitted to Harborough District Council.
