Residents can find out more about plans to build over 1,300 new homes in Market Harborough at a drop-in event today.
Harborough District Council is hosting it at the Symington Building between 2pm and 7pm, as it continues to consult on its draft Local Plan.
The document maps out preferred sites for nearly 6,500 new homes across the district over the next 15 years, alongside business areas, new schools and other community infrastructure.

Land identified for new housing to the north of Market Harborough
The new homes in Market Harborough are earmarked for land to the north of the town, with sites off Leicester Road stretching towards Great Bowden and south of Gallow Field Road.
A replacement Showground is also included in the blueprint.
Cllr Simon Galton, portfolio holder for planning, is encouraging people to visit the event:
Further drop-in events will be held next week at Broughton Astley Village Hall on April 7th between 4pm and 8pm and at Kibworth Grammar School Hall on April 9th between 3pm and 7pm.
