Summer Improvements For Former Rail Route

Work is to take place to improve footpaths and drainage in tunnels on the Brampton Valley Way.
Two hundred thousand pounds will be spent on the project under the structures near Great Oxendon and Kelmarsh, which flood during heavy rain.
The route along the old railway line between Market Harborough and Northampton is popular with walkers and cyclists.
West Northamptonshire Council says the work will be undertaken between June and October to avoid disturbing hibernating bats within the tunnels.
