Crown Court Appearance For Murder Suspect

A Rothwell man accused of murder has appeared at Northampton Crown Court.

Connor White was charged by police following the death of Ryan Burton in Kettering last month.

The 25-year-old of Spencer Street, who is also facing a robbery charge, was remanded back into custody.

He will appear back in court next month for a pre-trial plea hearing, together with three other men accused of murder, including Keiton Underwood, 20, from Desborough.

Ryan, 34, who was originally from Corby, was seriously assaulted in Spring Rise park, near Highfield Road, Kettering, shortly before 7pm on Friday, January 10th.

He died at University Hospital Coventry six days later.

Ten other people arrested as part of the investigation have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
