Emergency Repairs After Drivers Suffer Blow-Outs

Emergency repairs have taken place on the A6 Desborough bypass after several drivers suffered blow-outs because of deep potholes.
At least eight motorists were left with burst tyres after hitting the holes on the stretch of road near the Braybrooke Road roundabout earlier this week.

One driver described the road surface as ‘resembling the moon’ and called on council bosses to act, to prevent others suffering damage to their vehicles.
North Northamptonshire Council has now filled to potholes after closing the road to allow the work to take place.
The council has been approached for comment.
