Fabulous Support For Xmas Toy Appeal

Over 3,000 toys and gifts have been donated to the Toys On The Table appeal in Market Harborough.

There has been an amazing response from individuals, businesses and community groups.

The HFM-backed appeal ensures thousands of disadvantaged children across Leicestershire and Rutland have presents to open on Christmas Day.

Toys and gifts have been donated at Harborough Market over the past few weeks, after Harborough District Council allowed use of a stall in support of the appeal.

The table has had to be regularly emptied due to the scale of the donations.

Together with donations elsewhere, around 10,000 toys have been donated to the appeal.

HFM’s Nick Shaw said: “Once again HFM listeners and the community in and around Market Harborough have come together to show amazing support for this wonderful cause- we can’t thank you enough.”
